Trading

After the registration process is complete, you and your client will be able to trade.

Once you have helped your client to select the stocks that they wish to trade in through our i.nvest platform, you or your client can call our dealing desk where our dealers will take the order over the phone.

Our dealing desk is open between 8am – 4.30pm (Monday-Friday) UK times for trading on international markets.

Trades will only be placed when the relevant International Market is open. For example trade orders for the US received before 2.30pm UK time will be actioned once the US market has opened at 2.30pm. Similarly Hong Kong trades will only be sent between 8am – 9am UK time and any orders after this will be held by us until the following day.

You and your client can view and manage UK and international investments in one account.

Please remember the value of your client’s investments and any income from them can go up or down and they might get back less than the amount that they originally invested. All investments carry an element of risk which may differ slightly. Foreign markets will involve different risks than UK markets. In some cases risks will be greater. The potential for profit or loss from transactions on foreign markets or in foreign currency denominated markets will be affected by fluctuations in foreign exchange rates. We do not give advice and the inclusion of particular stock names is not intended as a recommendation.

You and your client should read the following documents before you call to make a trade:
