Alliance Trust Savings has published a list of the 20 most popular funds purchased on its platform in the run up to the end of the tax year. The ATS platform offers over 1,400 clean share class funds, the majority of which have no initial charge and offer some of the most competitive Annual Management Charges (AMCs) on the market.
The news today that the Government is launching a consultation on allowing the transfer of Child Trust Funds to Junior ISAs should be welcomed by the industry. Since the launch of Junior ISAs in November 2011 it quickly became evident that having two forms of child savings plans operating independently was causing great confusion amongst parents.
