J.P. Morgan Asset Management
James Glover, executive director, is a client
portfolio manager within the J.P. Morgan Asset
Management European Equity Group. An
employee since 2005, James was previously head
of investment trust sales in the specialist pooled
funds group, responsible for the development
and implementation of the sales strategy of J.P.
Morgan Asset Management’s range of
investment trusts. He was previously sales
director of investment trusts at Close Finsbury
Asset Management and before that was a private
client investment manager at Rathbones. James
is a Chartered Member of the Securities &
Investment Institute.
Neil Tong Head of UK Equities
Alliance Trust PLC
Neil Tong joined Alliance Trust in 1997 and has
responsibility for the UK Equities portfolio.
Previously, Neil worked as Head of Overseas
Equities and Head of Fixed Interest with General
Accident. He trained as an Equity Analyst with the
National Mutual Life Association of Australasia,
before moving to General Accident in 1990 as a
Senior UK analyst.
Neil graduated with a BA (Hons) in Economics
from Newcastle University and is an Associate of
the Society of Investment Professionals.
Bruce Stout Senior Investment Manager
Aberdeen Asset Management
Bruce Stout is a senior investment manager on
the Global equities team. Bruce joined Aberdeen
in 1987 via the acquisition of Murray Johnstone.
Bruce has held a number of roles including
investment manager on the emerging markets
team. Bruce graduated with a BA in Economics
from the University of Strathclyde and completed
a graduate training course with General Electric
Company UK.
David Stevenson Investment Columnist
Financial Times
David Stevenson writes an investment column
for the weekend edition of the Financial Times.
His Adventurous Investor column looks at
everything from momentum based investment
strategies through to investing in frontier
markets. David is also a columnist for the
Investors Chronicle in the UK and has previously
written on investment for Citywire and the
Independent. An economist by training, he
started at the EIU and then moved to the BBC,
where he was chief financial investigative
reporter for programmes as varied as The Money
Programme and Panorama.
